beautiful grounds, charming history, relaxing spa facilities
No phone in the room for contacting reception!!! The flat roof outside the window compromises security at night!!! TV and fan issues made for a frustrating experience that shouldn't happen!!!

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, perfect for relaxing after a busy day with my three teens. We all enjoyed the excellent breakfast, especially the wide variety offered and the attentive service from the staff. The pool was a hit with the kids too!
My kids wished there were more activities available for teenagers to enjoy during our stay. Maybe adding some organized events or games would keep them entertained.

Had a lovely stay in a quiet Standard King Room where I enjoyed the stunning woodland view while sipping tea on the balcony. The indoor swimming pool and spa treatments were just what I needed to unwind after a long day. Just a heads-up, the noise from a nearby event did carry into the room a bit, but overall, it was a wonderful experience! 😊

Nice staff, but some issues
The staff were really friendly and helpful, which was great. But the room wasn’t ready at check-in time, and waiting just made things annoying. Breakfast was kinda disappointing too. had to chase our tea and eggs. Glad we could get snacks at the bar, but the overall service could definitely improve.
